Simple Emergency Light Circuit

This can be termed as one among the simplest and cost effect emergency light circuit. It is an automatic emergency lamp fitted with light day sensing (this means it senses night or darkness and switches on automatically). It also senses day light and automatically turns off.

It is a simple emergency lamp and does not need any special equipment or a multi-meter to assemble and use. LED characteristic takes care of the deep discharge while the fixed voltage regulator takes care of the over charge protection.

Simple emergency light circuit can easily be contained in the PL tube type emergency lamp or defunct two six watt hose National Emergency Lamp. The only difference will be in its working. This one will work for more than 8hrs non-stop.

It uses a simple3-pin fixed regulator that has a built-in current limiting circuit. It’ll only need a preset set to guarantee the LEDs just light up. It is also mounted with an LDR on the emergency light to shun it from lighting up when the room lights on or during the day time.
